Where is Experience Vacation Rentals located?We're located at 5501 New Jersey Avenue in Wildwood Crest, NJ.
Where do I check in and check out?
Many of our properties have a smart lock, so you can go directly to the property upon arrival.
In most cases, if there is not a smart lock, then we'll have a lockbox at the property. We'll send you detailed check-in instructions prior to your arrival.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Our typical check-in time is at 3:00pm and check-out is at 10:00am. We offer an early check-in at 12:30pm and late check-out at 12:00pm when available.
What should we do before checking out?
We kindly ask that you please wash & put away your dishes, and remove all trash or recyclables from inside the property.
In the summer, we also ask that you leave the thermostat at 73 degrees before departing.
If you had the linen service, please place the sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, kitchen/dish towels, and bath mats back in the linen bins, and leave the bins by the front door prior to departing. At The Harbor Light, please note that sheets & towels are provided and setup prior to your arrival. At The Grand & Sandcastle, if you choose to add on the linen service, then we'll prepare the sheets & towels prior to your arrival and remove them upon your departure.
Where can I find details on check-in times, pets, etc.?
Within the lease agreement, you can find terms related to check-in and check-out times, maximum occupancy, cancellation policy, and maintenance of the property. Pets are NOT permitted.
How are cancellations and refunds handled?
Please email or text us if you need to make a cancellation. Once you let us know that you need to cancel, we'll relist the property online.
After the property is re-rented, we'll proceed with a cancellation and refund in the amount of 70-75% of the total price for the week.
Do you offer travel insurance?
Yes, we do. Please see below is more information regarding our two travel insurance options.
Our Standard Plan offers excellent coverage for about 30 cancellation reasons, and it’s 7% of the total reservation price. A few cancellation reasons include injury or illness, weather-related issues, job loss, mandatory work, and much more.
The Cancel For Any Reason plan protects up to 100% of your travel expenses and offers coverage no matter what the reason is. This is 10.8% of the total price, so for only an additional 3.8%, you have a lot more value (please note the CFAR plan is not available to guests who reside in New York).
How do I know the occupancy limit?
Each property listed on our website states the occupancy limit and number of bedrooms, as well as the sleeping arrangements. The occupancy limit is also located in your lease agreement.
What do I need to bring?
Please note we supply a welcome gift bag with vacation essentials to kickstart your vacation.
If you do not to add on the linen service, you will need to bring sheets, pillowcases, kitchen towels, and bath linens. Please review the bed sizes on our website to make sure you are bringing the correct size sheets. Linens are included at The Harbor Light, and they are an optional add-on at the rest of our properties.
Is cleaning included in my rental?
Yes, absolutely. The property will be professionally cleaned before and after your arrival. Upon request, we can arrange for a mid-stay clean at an additional price.
